Registration fees and deadlines can be found on the Registration page. Although each division has ages associated, placement is determined by skill assessment of the individual player. Skill assessment is conducted by League officials and coaches at an annual tryout session. If you believe your child should play up or down a division, or if you have questions about the division that is best for your player, please contact the VP of Softball to discuss the situation and get registered in the proper division.
To determine your child's league age, please reference the Softball Little League Age Chart. You can also use this handy Little League Age Calculator.
League Age | Division | Division Description |
4-7 | Tee Ball | Tee Ball provides a positive introduction to the baseball and the softball experience and is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals that are key to growing a child’s love for the game. |
6-11 | Minor League | Minor League programs are offered for younger players, looking to gain more experience. League instruction starts as coach-pitch and moves to kid-pitch as players move up in age and skill. |
10-12 | Major League | The Major League division is a competitive, advanced-play league with strong competition. This is a full kid-pitch division, that will incorporate advanced coaching and playing techniques. |
12-14 | Juniors League | The Junior League programs are considered more challenging than younger Little League® divisions due to more advanced rules, including the ability to lead-off and steal as the pitcher breaks, along with longer base paths and greater pitching distance. |
13-16 | Senior League | The Senior League division uses a 60-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 43 feet. This is the highest division of Little League® and provides the most advanced level of play. |
